California High School Football - Central East nudges Liberty

September 19, 2025: Bakersfield, CA 93312

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Central East Bengals football squad scored a close 35-33 triumph over the Liberty Patriots.

The Bengals (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos come into the Tri-River match with a 4-0 record.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 26. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 21-6 non-league loss to Kennedy (Delano, CA).
