The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) football trounced the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), 56-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesboro for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 25. Central will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 38-10 league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers enter the AAAA Region 3 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Starr's Mill was trounced by Griffin (Griffin, GA), 37-19, in a league game.
