In Friday's league game, the Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL) football team edged the visiting Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), by a tally of 31-30.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 26. Central will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Rockets enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 35-33 league loss to Minor (Adamsville, AL).
