Texas High School Football - Western Hills overwhelmed by Community

September 19, 2025: Nevada, TX 75173

In Friday's non-league game, the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) football team triumphed over the visiting Western Hills Cougars (Fort Worth, TX), by a score of 45-7.

In their next game, the Braves face the Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 outing, on Friday, October 3. Community will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.

With the defeat, Western Hills drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to clash with the Highlanders in a 4A-1 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, September 26. The Highlanders come into the game with a record of 2-2. Eastern Hills won 34-28 in their recent non-league game against Benbrook (Benbrook, TX)
