Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 51-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Desert Mountain advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wolves travel to Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Kellis won 47-35 in their recent non-league battle against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)

The Pride now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Edge for a non-league match on Friday, September 26. Mountain Pointe will confront a Scorpions squad coming off a 29-7 non-league win over ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-0.
