In Friday's non-league game, the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) football squad tipped the visiting Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME), by a margin of 50-44.

The Riots now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dexter for a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) outing on Saturday, September 27. Orono will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 54-0 non-league win over Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
