In Friday's league match, the host Round Rock Dragons football squad scored a good 31-17 triumph over the McNeil Mavericks.

The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region IV District 25 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Cedar Ridge defeated Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX), 41-30, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Mavericks confront the Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 match, on Friday, September 26. McNeil will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
