Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ), 28-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Youngker improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Alhambra lost 63-7 in their recent non-league battle against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ)

The Rockets now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Moon Valley will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-2.
