Florida High School Football - Nease can't hold off St. Augustine

September 19, 2025: Ponte Vedra, FL 32095

The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets got by the host Nease Panthers football team by a score of 28-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the Columbia Tigers (Lake City, FL) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Friday, September 26. St. Augustine will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 27-20 non-league win over Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).

With the defeat, Nease drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Buchholz (Gainesville, FL) to face the Bobcats in a 6A District 3 challenge on Friday, September 26. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Buchholz won 21-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA)
