Iowa High School Football - North Iowa crushed by West Bend-Mallard
September 19, 2025: Buffalo Center, IA 50424 West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), 58-18 in a league match.
The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats come into the 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Riceville routed Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 62-12, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Bison play the Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA) in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 26. North Iowa will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 62-12 league loss to Riceville (Riceville, IA).
