The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) and the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), saw Chatham Charter's volleyball squad beat Ascend Leadership by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Chatham Charter upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Knights host Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Lions in a Central Tar Heel 1A bout on Tuesday, September 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

The Aviators now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Southern Wake Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 3.
