The Josey Eagles football team (Augusta, GA), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA)

The Musketeers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, East Laurens was ripped by Jenkins County (Millen, GA), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenn Hills for a AA Region 4A challenge on Thursday, September 8. Josey will meet a Spartans team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
