The York Catholic Fighting Irish football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Hanover Nighthawks to 14 in the Fighting Irish league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Irish now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to York County Tech for a York-Adams 3 test on Saturday, September 28. York Catholic will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Littlestown (Littlestown, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Hanover drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Littlestown (Littlestown, PA) to meet the Thunderbolts in a York-Adams 3 test on Friday, September 27.
