Alabama High School Football - Williamson sneaks past Rain

The Williamson Lions football squad scored 6 points and limited the host Rain Red Raiders to 2 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphy for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Williamson will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 44-6 league loss to Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Rain drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red raiders host LeFlore (Mobile, AL) to meet the Rattlers in a 5A Region 1 test on Friday, October 4. The Rattlers come into the test with a record of 1-3.
