New York High School Soccer - Pearl River nudges Monroe-Woodbury
September 20, 2024: Pearl River, NY 10965 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Pearl River Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Dutchmen go into the Conference 2 League B outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Tappan Zee got by Harrison (Harrison, NY), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY) in a Section 9 Division I outing, on Monday, September 23. Monroe-Woodbury will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Bushmen go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY).
