In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Centennial Coyotes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Northwest Christian Crusaders.

The Coyotes (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A - Northwest Valley test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Lake Havasu achieved victory over Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host ALA - Ironwood for a 3A - Metro test on Tuesday, September 23. Northwest Christian will face a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Payson (Payson, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 12-12.
