Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Steel Valley nudges Serra Catholic
September 22, 2025: McKeesport, PA 15132 The Steel Valley Ironmen soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Serra Catholic Eagles to 2 in the Ironmen non-league victory on Monday.
The Ironmen now hold a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGuffey for a WPIAL AA 3 contest on Tuesday, September 23. Steel Valley will face a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to South Park (South Park, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-3.
The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Aquinas Academy was nudged by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
