North Carolina High School Soccer - Draughn overwhelmed by Freedom
September 23, 2021: Valdese, NC 28690 Fans at Thursday's non-league game between the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) and the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), witnessed Freedom's soccer squad triumph over Draughn by a final score of 6-0.
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Hibriten nipped Polk County (Columbus, NC), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses go into the Western Highlands 1A/2A game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Owen nipped Polk County (Columbus, NC), 8-1, in a non-league game.
