Ohio High School Football - Cambridge gets by Martins Ferry
September 23, 2022: Cambridge, OH 43725 The Cambridge Bobcats football squad scored 25 points and restricted the visiting Martins Ferry Purple Riders to 18 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.
The Bobcats now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Local for a Ohio Valley AAA battle on Friday, September 30. Cambridge will play a Jets squad coming off a 42-6 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Jets record now stands at 6-0.
Coming up next, the Purple Riders play the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) in a Ohio Valley AAAAA battle, on Friday, September 30. Martins Ferry will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Redskins enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 42-7 league loss to Bellaire (Bellaire, OH).
