September 23, 2022: Springfield, GA 31329 The Effingham County Rebels softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Pike County Pirates to 2 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Effingham County improves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Eastside (Covington, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 24. The Eagles enter the outing with a record of 10-6. Eastside won 5-3 in their recent league outing against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
The Pirates (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, East Coweta tipped Jackson (Jackson, GA), 14-0, in a non-league outing.
