The Mt. Vernon Marauders soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Delta Eagles to 0 in the Marauders league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Marauders face the Pendleton Heights Arabians (Pendleton, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage contest, on Monday, September 25. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Arabians enter the contest with a 5-7 record after their 1-1 league New Palestine (New Palestine, IN).

The Eagles now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yorktown for a Hoosier Heritage contest on Tuesday, September 26. Delta will face a Tigers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Muncie Central (Muncie, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
