Texas High School Volleyball - Round Rock tips Vista Ridge

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) and the host Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), saw Round Rock's volleyball squad nip Vista Ridge by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Round Rock upgrades its record to 28-9 on the year. The Dragons host Stony Point (Round Rock, TX) to play the Tigers in a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, September 28. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 22-13. Stony Point lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against McNeil (Austin, TX)

With the loss, Vista Ridge drops to 24-13 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Hutto (Hutto, TX) to battle the Hippos in a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, September 28. The Hippos come into the contest with a record of 13-22. Hutto lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Vandegrift (Austin, TX)
