Missouri High School Volleyball - St. Francis Borgia Helias
September 24, 2025: Washington, MO 63090 The Helias Crusaders topped the host St. Francis Borgia Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 30. Helias will attempt to advance on its 16-4 season record.
The Knights (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders come into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record.
Match Summary
The Helias Lady Crusaders would travel to Washington, MO to play at St. Francis Borgia. Helias would go up 12-8, 16-11,
then 20-14 for it's biggest lead of the match. Borgia would fight back 17-20, then 21-24 before Helias would finish out the set 25-21. In the second set Borgia would go up 9-8, then Helias go up 14-12. Tied at 15-15, then Helias up18-16, 19-18, 20-19, 23-21, 24-22 and Helias finally taking the Set & Match win 25-23. A real battle between Lady Crusaders & Lady Knights. For the Match Helias would score 25 points off serve with 3 Aces, while Borgia would score 19 points off serve with 6 Aces. Helias had 20 Assists, 21 Kills, 51 Digs and 33 Positive Service Receptions. The Lady Sader's also won some really long rallies, made some great saves inside & outside the court, had some timely block touches and a strong will to keep the play alive all through out the match. A giant key factor in the win, Helias never missed their serve during the match. Helias is now 16-4.
