September 25, 2018: Amherst, MA 01002 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Hurricanes battle the Frontier Regional Red Hawks (South Deerfield, MA) in a Pioneer Valley - Eastern A contest, on Thursday, September 27. The Hurricanes came out with confidence, hitting and passing well, and dishing out tough serves. Taconic struggled to receive serve and get in system, so Amherst had the benefit of many free balls to use to set up our offense. It was an all-around strong team effort.
