The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) and the visiting Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE), observed Gothenburg's football squad thwart Ogallala by a count of 27-13.

The Swedes now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a C1 District 8 contest on Friday, October 2. Gothenburg will play a Tigers squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
