Illinois High School Volleyball - Mendota can't get by Bureau Valley

September 25, 2025: Manlius, IL 61338

The Bureau Valley Storm nudged the visiting Mendota Trojans volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Storm now have a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Galva for a Lincoln Trail outing on Monday, September 29. Bureau Valley will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Mendota drops to 4-15 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mercer County (Aledo, IL) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a record of 8-13. Mercer County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL)
