September 26, 2024: Huntington, WV 25701

Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Boyd County advances its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY) to clash with the Blackcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Blackcats come into the test with a record of 8-3.

The Irish now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cross Lanes Christian for a Freelance test on Saturday, September 28.
