Maryland High School Soccer - Liberty knocks off Manchester Valley
September 26, 2024: Manchester, MD 21102 The Liberty Lions soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Manchester Valley Mavericks to 1 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Milford Mill Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, September 30. Liberty will play a Millers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Dundalk (Baltimore, MD). The Millers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Manchester Valley moves to 3-7 on the year. The Mavericks travel to South Carroll (Sykesville, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a MVAL - Blue Ridge bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 8-1. South Carroll won 7-0 in their recent non-league bout against New Town (Owings Mills, MD)
