The London Pirates got by the host Aransas Pass Panthers football team by a score of 33-29 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX) in a 3A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge, on Friday, October 3. London will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 41-21 league loss to Goliad (Goliad, TX).

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Edna (Edna, TX). The Cowboys go into the 3A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Edna was edged by Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX), 34-21, in a league challenge.
