New York High School Football - Watertown falls to Auburn
September 26, 2025: Auburn, NY 13021 The Auburn Maroons felled the visiting Watertown Cyclones football team by a score of 46-22 in Friday's non-league test.
The Maroons now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corcoran for a Section 3 A - American test on Friday, October 3. Auburn will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 28-12 non-league win over Henninger (Syracuse, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Watertown drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Henninger (Syracuse, NY) to face the Black Knights in a Section 3 A - National challenge on Friday, October 3. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Henninger lost 28-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Corcoran (Syracuse, NY)
