Ohio High School Football - Big Walnut trounces Padua Franciscan

September 26, 2025: Sunbury, OH 43074

In Friday's non-league match, the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles football squad scored a decisive 42-0 triumph over the Padua Franciscan Bruins.

The Golden Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH). The Wolves come into the Ohio Capital - Capital match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Worthington Kilbourne routed Hayes (Delaware, OH), 49-14, in a league battle.

The Bruins now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a North Coast battle on Friday, October 3. Padua Franciscan will play a Lions team coming off a 21-0 league win over Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
