South Carolina High School Football - Midland Valley beat Brookland-Cayce

September 26, 2025: Cayce, SC 29033

The Midland Valley Mustangs football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats to 7 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Airport for a AAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, October 3. Midland Valley will face a Eagles team coming off a 28-15 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

The Bearcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles enter the AAAA Region 4 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Gray Collegiate Academy ran past North Augusta (North Augusta, SC), 41-27, in a league challenge.
