Pennsylvania High School Football - St. Francis tops Cathedral Prep

September 26, 2025: Erie, PA 16501

The St. Francis Red Raiders football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Cathedral Prep Ramblers to 22 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Raiders now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Monsignor Martin A test on Saturday, October 4. St. Francis will face a Marauders team coming off a 45-28 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 2-2.

The Ramblers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against McDowell (Erie, PA). The Trojans go into the District 10 Region 7 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, McDowell went down by Harding (Warren, OH), 28-9, in a non-league test.
