The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots football squad scored 54 points and limited the host Madison Dragons to 24 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Humphrey-Lindsay for a D1 District 5 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 3. Clarkson/Leigh will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-24 league win over Newman Grove/St. Edward (Newman Grove, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

The Dragons (0-5) will now prepare for their test against David City (David City, NE). The Scouts come into the D1 District 5 (8 Man) test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, David City topped Twin River (Genoa, NE), 42-16, in a league test.
