The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) and the host Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA), witnessed Liberty's football squad knock off Clayton Valley Charter by a tally of 31-13.

The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA). The Wolverines enter the Bay Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Deer Valley was outscored by Roseville (Roseville, CA), 62-8, in a non-league contest.

The Ugly Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Las Lomas for a Diablo - Foothill bout on Friday, October 10.
