Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT), 33-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Ridgefield improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to play the Bears in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Norwalk won 54-30 in their recent non-league battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT)

The Green Dragons now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Hand for a Southern Connecticut battle on Friday, October 3. Hamden will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 38-7 non-league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
