The Rice Lake Warriors football squad scored 26 points and limited the host New Richmond Tigers to 23 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Falls for a Big Rivers challenge on Friday, October 3. Rice Lake will face a Wildcats team coming off a 44-21 league win over Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Mustangs enter the Big Rivers challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Menomonie held off Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI), 42-7, in a non-league challenge.
