New York High School Football - Saranac Lake tops Ticonderoga
September 26, 2025: Saranac Lake, NY 12983 The Saranac Lake Red Storm football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Ticonderoga Sentinels to 8 in the Red Storm league triumph on Friday.
The Red Storm now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plattsburgh for a Section 7 test on Saturday, October 4. Saranac Lake will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 48-22 league loss to Moriah (Port Henry, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Ticonderoga moves to 0-4 on the season. The Sentinels host Saranac (Saranac, NY) to play the Spartans in a Section 7 challenge on Friday, October 3. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Saranac won 35-6 in their recent league challenge against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY)
