California High School Football - Oak Grove thwarted by Santa Teresa
September 26, 2025: San Jose, CA 95123 Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA), 14-0 in a non-league battle.
The Saints now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Live Oak for a test on Saturday, October 11. Santa Teresa will meet a Acorns squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Oak Grove drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Leland (San Jose, CA) to meet the Chargers in a test on Friday, October 3. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Leland lost 26-8 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)
