September 27, 2022: Kearney, NE 68847 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) and the visiting Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), witnessed Kearney Catholic's softball squad prevail over Chase County by a count of 10-0.
The Stars now sport a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to Minden for a C District 9 match on Thursday, September 29. Kearney Catholic will meet a Whippets squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to McCook (McCook, NE). The Whippets record now stands at 1-24.
With the loss, Chase County moves to 5-14 on the season. The Longhorns host Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to meet the Dragons in a non-league match on Thursday, September 29. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 8-11. Holyoke lost 14-2 in their recent league match against Limon (Limon, CO)
