The Colorado Springs Christian Lions walloped the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies football team by a score of 60-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions play the Dolores Huerta Prep Scorpions (Pueblo, CO) in a 1A Tri-Peaks challenge, on Friday, October 4. Colorado Springs Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.

The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Denver Christian (Denver, CO). The Thunder go into the 1A Frontier challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Denver Christian was ripped by Burlington (Burlington, CO), 48-12, in a non-league challenge.
