The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) and the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), witnessed St. Edward's football squad wallop Bishop McNamara by a tally of 57-19.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats enter the Freelance contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, St. Ignatius crushed Riverside (Painesville, OH), 45-33, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Bishop McNamara will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
