September 27, 2025: Owyhee, NV 89832 The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) and the host Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV), witnessed Pyramid Lake's football squad knock off Owyhee by a tally of 24-0.
The Lakers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against McDermitt (McDermitt, NV). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Northern (8 Man) bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, McDermitt beat Coleville (Coleville, CA), 50-22, in a league bout.
The Braves now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eureka for a 1A Northern (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 3. Owyhee will encounter a Vandals team coming off a 36-0 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 1-4.
