Oregon High School Volleyball - Franklin edged by Springfield
September 27, 2025: Springfield, OR 97477 Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Millers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the 5A Midwestern challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Crater edged Summit (Bend, OR), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Quakers meet the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to McDaniel (Portland, OR).
