Indiana High School Soccer - Plainfield knocks off Danville
September 28, 2021: Danville, IN 46122 Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Danville Warriors (Danville, IN), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Quakers confront the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) in a Mid-State challenge, on Thursday, September 30. Plainfield will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Grizzly Cubs enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over New Palestine (New Palestine, IN).
The Warriors now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Crawfordsville for a Sagamore challenge on Thursday, September 30. Danville will confront a Athenians team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Athenians record now stands at 11-3.
