The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) and the host North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC), saw St. Pius X Catholic's volleyball squad nip North Raleigh Christian Academy by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, St. Pius X Catholic upgrades its record to 12-0 on the year. The Golden Lions travel to Hoover (Hoover, AL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 4. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Hoover won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL)

The Knights now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 4. North Raleigh Christian Academy will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Windermere Prep (Windermere, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
