Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rio Americano upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Cosumnes Oaks lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)

Next, the Hillmen play the Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Foothill Valley League game, on Tuesday, September 9. Placer will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record.
