September 30, 2021: Hampstead, NC 28443 The Topsail Pirates football team (Hampstead, NC), was beaten 26-13 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC)
The Scorpions (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Hoggard achieved victory over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 7-0, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Brunswick for a challenge on Thursday, October 7. Topsail will meet a Trojans team coming off a 52-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
