Florida High School Volleyball - Leesburg can't get by First Academy

First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, First Academy advances its record to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mount Dora Christian Academy (Mount Dora, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A District 6 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 9-10. Mount Dora Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Tavares (Tavares, FL)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eustis for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Leesburg will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.
