California High School Flag Football - Lakewood falls to Fountain Valley
September 30, 2025: Lakewood, CA 90713 The Fountain Valley Barons felled the host Lakewood Lancers flag football team by a score of 30-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Barons play the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a Sunset challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Fountain Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Griffins come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 14-0 league loss to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA).
With the defeat, Lakewood drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA) to meet the Jaguars in a test on Wednesday, October 1. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-11. Cabrillo lost 13-6 in their recent league test against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA)
